Blueprint® High Mag Mineral with ClariFly®

Product number: 62303

A nutritionally superior high mag mineral. Blueprint High Mag Mineral with ClariFly provides essential magnesium to aid in the protection from grass tetany in susceptible cattle with the addition of ClariFly to aid in the prevention of the emergence of house flies, horn flies, face flies and stable flies from manure of treated cattle. Exclusive use of BIOPLEX organic trace minerals and SEL-PLEX selenium yeast provide minerals in forms that are as close to nature as possible and are easily absorbed and readily metabolized by animals. The fact that Blueprint minerals contain no inorganic forms of trace minerals helps protect the environment from issues caused by the excretion of underutilized heavy metals in the manure.

Product directions

When used as directed, Blueprint High Mag with ClariFly will provide sufficient diflubenzuron insect growth regulator to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies, stable flies, face flies, and house flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Start feeding before flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end of the fly season. Use Blueprint High Mag with ClariFly as part of a fly control program aimed at reducing fl y populations. House and stable flies can develop in decaying vegetable matter or spilled silage on premises in the cattle’s environment. Good sanitation practices, such as cleaning up spilled feed and preventing manure build-up around barns and fences or under feed bunks, will eliminate additional breeding sites for these flies.

Feeding Directions for Pastured Beef Cattle

Cattle should consume an average of 0.4 ounces of Blueprint High Mag with ClariFly per 100 lbs. of animal body weight per day, which is equivalent to 4 ounces per day for a 1,000 pound animal.
